The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (abbreviated as AHSEC) is a state education regulatory board established by the Assam Government on 1st June 1984 under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, Government of Assam to regulate, supervise and develop the system of Higher Secondary Education ( + 2 stages) in the State of Assam.
VISION:
The Journey of a mile always begins with one small step forward. AHSEC’s visions are also being fulfilled more and more with each passing year the AHSEC shall motivate and strive to bring uniformity in the academic activities in institutions imparting HS course as well as endeavoring to increase the teaching techniques through state of art education and research in consonance with the academic environment of the state that will positively remove towards the desired goals with changing paradigms.
